Experts outline reason behind collapse of Al-Weibdeh building

The Amman Criminal Conciliation Court heard Tuesday the testimonies of 16 witnesses in the case of Al-Weibdeh building collapse.

Additionally, five experts submitted a report to the Amman Criminal Conciliation Court, outlining the causes of the collapse of an apartment building in Al-Weibdeh area, the Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.

One of the residents of the collapsed building said that it had cracks for 18 years.

Sept. 13, 2022, a building collapsed in Al-Weibdeh area in Amman, leaving 14 dead and 10 injured.

Notably, on Sept. 16, 2022, the last person was pulled out dead from under the rubble of the collapsed building.
