Tunisian film crew protests Gaza genocide at Venice Film Festival

The cast and crew of the Tunisian film “Aicha” took a bold stance during their appearance at the 81st edition of the Venice Film Festival.

The cast and crew, standing shoulder to shoulder, presented a banner reading “STOP THE GENOCIDE” in a clear call for international attention to the ongoing Israeli Occupation violence in Gaza.

The symbolic protest took place ahead of the film's world premiere in the Orizzonti section of the festival, a competitive category that showcases films from new and emerging filmmakers.
