Oak Tree Kitchen celebrates first anniversary
Oak Tree Kitchen, a unique Jordanian Arabic restaurant with a modern twist, celebrated its first anniversary on Friday, September 27. The event was attended by Mr. Yazan Al Muasher, Development and Innovation Manager at Oak Tree Kitchen, along with various media and public figures.
Oak Tree Kitchen, located at the Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, has made a name for itself by blending traditional Jordanian and Arabic dishes with innovative twists. The restaurant has seen great success in its first year, attracting guests from Amman and beyond, earning the top spot on TripAdvisor among nine similar restaurants in the Dead Sea area.
Mr. Yazan Al Muasher reflected on the journey of the past year, stating, "We opened Oak Tree Kitchen a year ago with the objective of featuring fusion traditional dishes. The first year was, of course, challenging, but we overcame it thanks to the very positive reviews from our customers, all made possible by our amazing team, which we are blessed with. Their extraordinary hospitality has been key. Oak Tree enables our team to be innovative with their dishes without any borders or limitations."
The General Manager of the Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Mr. Muhannad Hameed, shared his thoughts on the restaurant’s concept and its growing reputation: "The idea of Oak Tree Kitchen was to present a Jordanian Arabic cuisine, and the reason behind naming it this way is because the Oak tree is an ancient national tree in Jordan, known for its strong deep roots and grand size, representing our culture. Oak Tree has succeeded in a way that we didn’t expect, with customers coming from Amman to the Dead Sea just to eat here. All of this wouldn’t have been achievable without our great team, who are behind the preparation of the delicious food and excellent service."
The anniversary celebration was an evening filled with amazing food, live entertainment, and the warmth of the Oak Tree’s community coming together. Guests enjoyed a specially curated menu showcasing Oak Tree Kitchen’s signature dishes, each thoughtfully crafted to reflect the restaurant’s unique blend of traditional Jordanian and Arabic flavors with modern, innovative twists.
