Trump vows to "stop transgender lunacy"
Former US President Donald Trump announced plans for strict measures on transgender policies and immigration starting from his first day in office, should he win re-election in January.
Speaking at a youth conservative event in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump pledged to sign executive orders to end what he called the “gender lunacy” affecting children. He promised to ban transgender individuals from serving in the military and restrict their inclusion in elementary, middle, and high schools.
Trump also vowed to “keep men out of women’s sports,” emphasizing that his administration would officially recognize only two genders—male and female.
On immigration, Trump proposed tougher measures to combat what he described as “migrant crimes.” He committed to designating drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations as part of efforts to strengthen domestic security.
