Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced a complex operation targeting an Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) unit in the Tel Al-Zaatar area, east of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
On Friday, the brigades reported that one of its fighters detonated an explosive belt among a group of five IOF soldiers, resulting in casualties on both sides.
They further stated that as the IOF rescue teams approached the scene, their fighters successfully sniped two additional soldiers before launching several homemade grenades at the remaining troops.
