The IOF stormed Kamel Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza early Friday, according to Palestinian medical sources.

Communication with the hospital administration was severed after IOF troops surrounded the facility, giving just 15 minutes for those inside to evacuate to the outdoor courtyard.

An official source confirmed that the IOF besieged Kamel Adwan Hospital, instructing its director, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, to gather everyone in the courtyard within the tight time frame as part of preparations for the incursion.

A medical source later confirmed that the IOF indeed entered the hospital.

Reports indicate that approximately 350 individuals were present inside Kamel Adwan Hospital, including 75 injured patients, their companions, and around 180 medical staff and workers from various departments.

Earlier, Dr. Abu Safiya announced that approximately 50 people had been killed, including five medical staff, as a result of an airstrike by IOF planes that targeted a building adjacent to the hospital.

He confirmed that among the deceased were Dr. Ahmed Samour, a pediatrician, and Israa Abu Zaida, a laboratory technician, both of whom were killed while attempting to return home.

Additionally, technician Fares Al-Houdali was martyred while trying to rescue the injured.
