The Gaza government media office has accused Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) of committing severe violations during their attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

In a statement released Friday, the office reported that 'Israeli' forces set fire to and destroyed the hospital, rendering it inoperable. Medical staff, patients, and their companions were reportedly detained and taken to an unknown location, raising fears for their safety.

The statement said that 'Israeli' troops surrounded the hospital in the morning, deployed explosive-laden robots to demolish parts of the building, and later stormed the facility.

More than 350 people, including 180 medical staff and 75 wounded patients, were held inside the hospital before being forced at gunpoint to remove their clothing and were then taken to an undisclosed location.

The office also confirmed a complete loss of communication with the hospital’s management and staff, further deepening concerns about the situation and highlighting the ongoing violations against Gaza’s healthcare system.
